Slavery
Was sittin next to me
On a train headed south on the clouds.
He said, "You seen my ticket?"
"I seem to have lost it"
So I searched my luggage,
And wondered who could've nicked it.
Opening the gates of heaven
There's no answer when I knock on the door.
Might as well let myself in, cause staying out here's a bore.
But Slavery weren't getting in those gates, he was just here for the tour.
"So long, old fellow!" he cried with a grin.
While the devils hoisted him down, and shut him in.
Forgive forgive forgive,
Call the oaks and the elms and the redwood,
Forgive is to do what Jesus would.
"Ah but you see,"
Corrects the raven in glee.
"There's nought to forgive if there's nought to sin!"
"For Sin is all he be, and Sinner there be no more!"
"So let him go, he asked for what the devil asked for!"
Let him go, Let him go
Call the black birds,
Satan brought himself to his knees
When he asked for a place to be
Where God was not.
A place where his arrogance could reign free,
And look what it brought.
